Wiikwemkoong Rental Property Management offers safe and affordable rental accommodations to Wiikwemkoong community members. Through the following programs, Rental Property Management ensures the best utilization and protection of WUIR Band Rental Units.

CMHC Programs

Section 95 (WUIR Rental Units): available to any band member in need of affordable housing shelter assistance. Units vary from – 1 to 4 bedrooms Houses. There are all types of rental units for single families to clients who are physically challenged.

Rental Property Management Maintenance

Rental Work Orders
A Work Order is a Maintenance repair service for Rental Units; A Work Order is performed by Rental Property Management Maintenance Crew. They repair rental units that a tenant is unable to repair on their own.

How to request a Work Order: Tenants can either call in and speak to the Property Records Clerk or drop by at the office and fill out a Maintenance request form. The Work Order will then be forwarded to the Maintenance Supervisor, who will arrange (urgency basis) his crew to perform the repairs for the unit.

Emergency Rental Work Orders
After-Hours Work Orders: Work Orders that are not an emergency can wait until regular business hours. If emergency maintenance is required please contact maintenance at their home phone numbers.

Types of Emergency Work Orders include: Flooding, Heating Problems, Electrical Problems or Plumbing Problems (no running water, major leaks)

Rental Property Management Office Team

Lyndsay Brisard—Rental Property Manager

Oversees the overall management and administration of the Rental Property Management department and staff.

Tenant Relations Officer (Vacant)

Responsible for all tenant relations including applications, updates, rental agreements, arrears, and all other tenant requests.

Robin Manitowabi – Property Administrator

Provides financial administration and the collection, analysis, and reporting of information, maintaining an up-to-date database and property management software.

Blake Webkamigad—Property Records Clerk

Work Order intake, financial administration assistance, materials and supplier relations.

Crystal Simon—Administrative Assistant

General Office Administration, Phones, Front Office, Management/Booking of Rabbit Island Community Centre.

Rental Property Management Maintenance Team

Bruce Recollet—Rental Property Maintenance Supervisor

Oversees and manages maintenance team, work order assignment, and rental unit inspections (Move-In/Out).

Steve Enosse—Maintenance

Work Order Maintenance, Regular Scheduled Maintenance, Rental Unit Occupancy Preparation .
